This tile set is beautiful. It features 2 layer tiles (white and pink) with engraved then painted characters.

The bams are magic wands, the bam bird is a song bird. 
The cracks are roman numerals, easy for children
The dots are crowns
The dragons feature a crest as the white dragon, the pink dragon in place of the red dragon, and a blue dragon in place of the green dragon. 
The winds are different color castles
The jokers are symbols from some of our favorite princesses
